Oct 24th Harvest of Hope Breakfast Realtor Fundraiser for Charity

The San Francisco Association of Realtors just announced in their Member’s Edge newsletter their 1st Annual Fall Breakfast with the theme “Harvest of Hope.”

The breakfast is scheduled for Monday, October 24th, going from 8am to 9:30am, and all are welcome to buy tickets (all proceeds help the charity) and attend. Guest speakers include SF Mayor Ed Lee and Jeff Kositchky, Director of the SF Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing.

The event takes place at The Metropolitan Club, 640 Sutter Street.

This breakfast is a charity fundraising event to help The Welcome Home Project (WHP) dedicated to assisting SF’s homeless in moving into a new home by providing household goods. The WHP is part of the San Francisco Association of Realtors Charitable Foundation—joined by other nonprofit and government organizations involved in WHP.

100% of the proceeds collected will be used to purchase new housewares for the homeless moving into permanent housing. Moving into a new home is challenging for everyone. The WHP is a collaboration of nonprofit, real estate, and government organizations seeking to provide previously homeless adults, families and children with new household necessities (kitchenware, bedding, cleaning supplies, toiletries and small appliances: toasters, coffee makers) to help them set up their new home.

Tickets, sponsorships and tables are available here.
