27 San Franciscan Things to Do In Winter Time

Yes, today, most of the nation is already in record low freezing temperatures or preparing to go into temperatures lower than on Mars. But here in SF, the lows are not too bad, though we had a few small earthquakes this morning. So, with our mild winter clothes on and our faux fires in the fireplaces we’re looking for some interesting, enlightening things to do this winter.

Well, sfcurbed.com has conjured up a winter’s fairy tale of a list with 27 things we can do in the city that are charming, cool, hot, and special parts of the SF scene.

Below is the link to sfcurbed’s interactive map that will give a short blurb about the activity, where it is on a map, and the map is clickable to go to the descriptive blurb.

A few activities:
Take a brisk walk along the Embarcadero to see the best view of the Bay Bridge, and check out Cupid’s Span.

Stop in and browse the new books or down-marked books at Green Apple Books over in the Inner Richmond. This is an SF independent book store, which is a treat.

Check out the street mural art at the Lilac Mural Project at Lilac Alley.
