Slew of inventory to hit market this month

The friendly people at Guild Mortgage Company remind us that September is a big month for the San Francisco construction world. In a nutshell, we’re going to have lots of new inventory hitting the market, so it’s time to get your ducks in a row now if you’re interested in buying a piece of any of these properties.

Summit 800, which is bringing 182 homes to the Lake Merced area, is being co-developed by Maracor and Comstock Homes. The townhouse development was first proposed 12 years ago (why rush into things?) and sits on 7.7 acres of previously undeveloped land. Summit has now had its third release, with 10 more two- and three-bedroom units hitting the market.

870 Harrison is anticipated to be released at the end of the month. These 26 condos constitute a boutique building in SOMA and come to us courtesy of The Mark Company, which gained approval for the project back in 2009. Amenities include a rooftop garden, which is getting more and more standard amongst these types of buildings.

Tomorrow marks the debut of Lumina, at least insofar as the first meeting with the sales team and lenders. Located at 201 Folsom Street, these 655 units offer city and Bay views and have been spearheaded by developer Tishman Speyer. Originally given the green light in 2003, it was approved with its sister project The Inifinity. That was completed in 2009.

Finally, Amero in Cow Hollow is mostly complete with a grand opening slated tentatively for Sept. 17. These 27 two- and three-bedroom condos range from 1,000 to 2,500 square feet with amenities including professional-grade kitchens, private decks, and wide-ranging views.
